Donna Karan Fragrance is the perfume line of the (DKNY) Donna Karan New York. a company owned by the renowned American fashion designer going by the same name.

According to a Wikipedia source; Donna Karan was born “Donna Ivy Faske” in Forest Hills New York in 1948.

She embarked on her famous career working as an assistant designer to Anne Klein, an equally reputable fashion designer who founded her own women’s apparel and sportswear label. Donna proceeded to an associate designer position and in 1983 launched Essentials line which she followed with her very popular Seven Easy pieces. The Seven Easy Pieces has grown to 200 pieces currently.

Donna launched the DKNY perfume line for women in 1992. It’s first edition – the Donna Karan Eau De Parfum was released in a limited edition to a positive response from the public, Eau De Parfum went on to become a best-seller the same year. The perfume is well known for its sensuous fragrance that carries notes of neroli, bergamot, peach, apricot, pineapple, cassia, orchid, carnations, and rose.

The fragrance also contains cedar, musk, Tonka bean, sandalwood, patchouli, incense, amber notes, citruses, and vanilla. DKNY perfumery launched a Donna Karan Fragrance for men in 1994, the flagship product was given the name Donna Karan Cashmere. This followed in 1996 with an exotic brand named Chaos. Chaos was later re-launched in corporation with Bergdorf Goodman.

2008 saw the launch of eight Donna Karan perfumes, these are Be delicious Kisses, Gold Sparkling, Delicious Night, Charmingly Delicious, Be Delicious Art Men,  Donna Karan Summer, and Be Delicious Red Art for both sexes.

The latest DKNY perfume launched in 2009 is the Be Delicious Blossom; this is the ideal Donna Karan Fragrance for spring. The scent carries notes of grapefruit, jasmine and rose. DKNY maintain showrooms, studios and offices in 7th Avenue Manhattan, New York City.
